Classification and design of Australian/New Zealand plant biosafety laboratories

This article presents the standards of plant biosafety laboratories in Australia/New Zealand from the aspects of plant biosafety laboratory classification basis, building layout, structure and decoration, ventilation and air conditioning systems, key protective equipment, system monitoring and automatic control systems, etc., and studies the concept and design ideas of plant biosafety laboratories by analysing their similarities and differences with human and animal pathogen biosafety laboratories, which provides suggestions for the formulation or revision of relevant standards in China.
